1.Overview
Model HSHD-7003 Retort Kit is an instrument used to separate and measure the volumes of water, oil, and solid phase in water-based drilling fluid samples. The instrument employs an external heating distillation method, specifically quasi-volume distillation. 20ml of a fixed amount of drilling fluid is heated at high temperature, and after oil-water separation and condensation, it is dripped into a graduated cylinder to calculate the percentage content of oil, water, and solid phase by mass or volume. Due to the use of external heating, the test accuracy is improved compared to conventional heating rods. It avoids dry burning (overheating) caused by internal heating. The instrument is easy to operate and suitable for both laboratory and field use. It is the basis for understanding the solid phase concentration and composition, viscosity, and filtration control of water-based drilling fluid. Its characteristics include simple structure and convenient operation, making it an ideal and suitable dedicated instrument for both laboratory and field use.
