					<description><![CDATA[The purpose of using potassium ions in drilling fluid is to stabilize shale and suppress expansive clay. Therefore, it is necessary to accurately determine the content of potassium ions in order to control the performance of drilling fluids. Model HSHD-1602 Hand Operated Centrifuge is used to determine the potassium ion content of drilling fluid filtrate when the potassium ion concentration is higher than 5000mg/1 or the KCl concentration is higher than 3.5lb/bbl. After precipitating potassium ions with perchlorate in a centrifuge tube, measure the volume of the precipitate and read the potassium ion content from the standard curve.

</ol>
<p>The purpose of using potassium ions in drilling fluids is to stabilize shale and inhibit swelling clays. Therefore, the potassium ion concentration must be accurately determined in order to control the performance of the drilling fluid. This hand-cranked centrifuge is used to determine the potassium ion content in drilling fluid filtrates when the potassium ion concentration exceeds 5,000 mg/L or the KCl concentration exceeds 3.5 lb/bbl. After precipitating the potassium ions with perchlorate in the centrifuge tube, the volume of the precipitate is measured, and the potassium ion content is read from a standard calibration curve.</p>

<p><strong>4.Instrument Structure and Principle</strong></p>
<p>The instrument consists of three components: filter cartridge, funnel, and glass measuring cylinder.</p>
<p>The filter cartridge is equipped with a (200 mesh) stainless steel mesh in the middle, with a pore size of 0.074mm.</p>
<p>A glass measuring cylinder is a glass measuring cylinder marked with a scale indicating the volume of the sample to be added (30ml). The percentage of sand content can be directly read, and there is a percentage scale line from 0 to 20 marked on this glass measuring cylinder.</p>

<p>1.2 The instrument adopts a high-subdivision motor driver combined with a stepping  motor, ensuring high torque, accurate and stable rotational speed. The synchronous belt drive offers low noise and convenient speed adjustment.</p>
<p>1.3 Viscosity measurement uses imported digital sensors, providing high accuracy, stability, and strong anti-interference capability.</p>
<p>1.4 The blue-screen LCD large touchscreen display directly shows digital readings of viscosity, rotational speed, and time. It can store up to 20 sets of measurement data (including date, sample number, viscosity value, rotational speed, and time) and features power-off data retention.</p>
<p>1.5 Zero calibration function.</p>
<p>1.6 The instrument can be connected to a computer for operation, displaying    measurement curves, and allows optional printing as needed.</p>

<p>Compact the shale powder into a core and place it in a rock cylinder. Place the sensing rod on the core and place it on the base of the test cup. Inject the treatment agent into the test cup. After the core expands, push the sensing rod and dial gauge upwards, and finally the expansion amount is directly read by the dial gauge.</p>
