1.Overview
The model HSHD-1009 Cup Heater is mainly used in conjunction with a six speed rotary viscometer to simulate the constant temperature of downhole drilling fluid for measuring rheological parameters, and can also be used to heat and maintain a constant temperature for other fluids. This instrument is widely used in departments such as petroleum and geological exploration.
2.Main Technical Parameters
| No. | Category | Specification |
| 1 | Rated power supply | 220V±5% 50Hz |
| 2 | Rated power | 200W |
| 3 | Control temperature | Room temperature to 93 ℃ |
| 4 | Cup heating time | Less than 30 minutes |
3.Structural Diagram
The instrument structure is reasonable and the operation is simple. Adopting a bimetallic temperature controller, the constant temperature is reliable and the accuracy is high. The heating cup is made of aluminum alloy material, which has fast heat transfer, is sturdy, and durable.
4.Operation
(1) Connect the power supply (AC 220V ± 5%), adjust the thermostat knob to zero position, the indicator light is on, the power is connected, but the heating rod is not working.
(2) Insert the bimetallic thermometer into the “thermometer socket” on the upper left side of the heater, rotate the thermostat knob clockwise, the heating indicator light will turn off, and the heating rod will start working.
(3) Keep the indicator light off and observe the thermometer reading. When the reading is about 20 ℃ higher than the required temperature, adjust the knob to turn on the indicator light, stop heating, and the heater starts to maintain a constant temperature.
(4) Place the drilling fluid sample into the sample cup to the mark, then place the sample cup into the heater, paying attention to placing the positioning pin into its positioning hole.
(5) Place the bimetallic thermometer into the drilling fluid and observe the thermometer reading. When the reading reaches the desired temperature, adjust the knob, stop heating, the indicator light will turn on, and the sample cup will remain at a constant temperature.
(6) Place the heater containing the constant temperature drilling fluid into the positioning hole of the six speed rotary viscometer tray to perform viscosity testing.
