1.Overview
The Garrett Gas Train is used to determine the soluble sulfide content in drilling fluid. Soluble sulfides include hydrogen sulfide (H2S), sulfur ions (S²¯), and hydrogen sulfide ions (HS¯). Acidify the drilling fluid filtrate in the Garrett gas separator to convert all sulfides into H2S, which is carried out by the carrier gas foaming the sample.
