1.Overview

Model HSHD-1302 Sand Content Test Kit is a simple, reliable, effective, and accurate instrument device for measuring the sand content of drilling fluid. It uses the method of filter decomposition to determine the sand content. The sand content of drilling fluid refers to the percentage of sand particles with a diameter greater than 0.074mm that cannot pass through the No. 200 sieve in the drilling fluid volume.

4.Instrument Structure and Principle

The instrument consists of three components: filter cartridge, funnel, and glass measuring cylinder.

The filter cartridge is equipped with a (200 mesh) stainless steel mesh in the middle, with a pore size of 0.074mm.

A glass measuring cylinder is a glass measuring cylinder marked with a scale indicating the volume of the sample to be added (30ml). The percentage of sand content can be directly read, and there is a percentage scale line from 0 to 20 marked on this glass measuring cylinder.
