1.Overview

Mud Balance is mainly used as a specialized instrument for measuring the density of drilling fluid and other liquid substances. Widely used in major oil fields, geological exploration, and laboratory analysis and determination of liquid density. 3.Working Principle

The Mud Balance is an unequal arm lever testing instrument, which consists of a scale lever main ruler and a main blade embedded on the lever main ruler as a fulcrum. The left end of the lever is connected to a liquid cup, with a cup cover on the top. The right end of the lever is connected to a balance cylinder, which has a screw plug mainly used to calibrate the weight (lead particles) added to the balance of the lever. Therefore, unless the instrument is recalibrated, do not unscrew the screw plug on the top. There is a horizontal bubble embedded on the lever at the upper part of the main blade. When the bubble is in the center position, it indicates that the lever is in a horizontal position. The lever has a movable weight with a screw at the back, which allows the weight to move freely along the groove of the lever without falling off. There is also a small screw hole at the bottom of the front of the weight, which is used to adjust the weight of the weight. Unless the instrument is recalibrated, do not unscrew this screw hole, otherwise it will cause the instrument to be inaccurate. The lever ruler is placed on the main cutting edge of the support seat. The lever ruler can swing flexibly. To prevent excessive tilting of the lever ruler, there is a ruler bracket on the support base. When not in use, the lever ruler can be placed on this bracket.
