1.Overview
The shearometer is used to measure the strength (static shear force) of the grid structure formed by the mutual attraction and bonding between clay particles when the drilling fluid is at rest, which is the force required to destroy the grid structure per unit area of the drilling fluid (shear force). The measured initial and final shear forces have great significance for drilling and hole protection.
